The White Hot
series of golf putters by Odyssey is certainly one of the best
branded Odyssey putters on the market. The new White Hot XG
offers the latest in scientific putting technology, largely
due to its multi-layer insert, which Odyssey says is their
softest and most responsive insert they have yet developed.
Made with an elastomer core material, a thin striking surface
and a textured impact zone, the White Hot XG putter head
creates a highly resilient and responsive club.
Odyssey's
White Steel Putters
also use dual insert technology, which is
located deep within the putter head to help give better
stability, forgiveness and increased resistance to twisting.
Both the White Hot Urethane insert and milled stainless steel
inserts create some of the best feedback and rebound of any
putter on the greens.
Odyssey White Hot Tour Putter
Weight ports in the sole of the
Odyssey White Hot Tour Putter allow for
optimal weighting in combination with the shaft lengths in
each putter to maximize consistency and distance control,
enhance feel and provide better roll characteristics. The
headweights for 33" and 34" putters are 355 grams while the
35" putters are 340 grams. A bronzed Tour finish gives the
putter a deep, rich color that reduces glare and provides
the aesthetics accomplished players prefer. The White Hot
Tour Putter is constructed with an elastomer core that is
highly resilient for enhanced feel and truer roll, while a
thin, firm outer striking surface infused with urethane
provides fine-tuned responsiveness. A multi-layer insert
allows weight to be shifted to the perimeter of the head for
higher MOI and better stability.
