Hard
Greens - Put On A Soft Face
If you are going to play a course that has very fast or
hard greens, you might benefit from using a golf putter with
a soft face. Many manufacturers now offer golf putters that
have putter faces that dampen the strike of the clubface
and ball to produce a softer feel. Golfers who play
slick greens often prefer the soft-faced golf putters, since
they offer better distance control.
