Firm
Up Putting Routine
It's easy to get nervous over putts, particularly short
to middle distance putts you need to hole to score well.
A nervous golf stroke usually results.
The
best way to make a "nerve-less" golf stroke is to make
it part of a routine. It's not to important what
movements you make. It is important to set a pre-stroke
routine that flows smoothly into the golf stroke itself.
For example, you might set the blade of the golf putter behind the ball,
look from ball to hole once or twice, and make a slight
forward press of your hands toward the target. The key
is to make these movements the same way every time, then
immediately continue with the golf stroke itself.
Developing a rock-solid routine will make the golf putting
stroke "automatic" - and you more confident.
