Check The Rim Before You Putt
____________________________________________________________
On
short golf putts, always check the rim of the cup
to see it's condition, since this will affect the speed
of your putt. If the rim is worn down, you will need to
have the ball drop into the cup by dying it in. A golf
putt with any speed may lip out badly on these rims. If
the edge of the cup is firm and lean, you can hit your
putt with more speed, since the rim will catch your golf
ball.
