Slide,
Don't Slap From The Sand

The best way to describe
the sand shot is that the golf club slides under the golf ball and does not hit
into or slap at the sand. A good way to gain a feel for this image is to try and
throw the sand out of the bunker and onto the green as you slid the golf club
under the ball and follow through with the club head going toward the target.
The sand going forward is a good check to show that you made a proper golf
swing.
