Don't
Cross That Line

At the top of your
backswing, the golf club should be pointing just left of your target and
parallel to your target line. If it points to the right of the target, you have
crossed the line and will either hit a pushed shot or a nasty hook. Shorten your
backswing so that the golf club is pointing along the line and is level with the ground.
Have a pro or a friend check your position while you hit balls.
