The Pin Before You Chip

Before you play a chip shot, walk over and check the pin
to see if it is seated properly into the cup and not
loose where it might sway in the wind. Also check to see
if it is thin at the bottom to allow your golf ball to
hit and drop. If the shaft of the pin is thick or
wobbly, take it out, as it will only hurt your chances
of holing out your golf shot
