Take
The Stance Of An Athlete
____________________________________________________________
Generating high clubhead speed and hitting the golf ball
squarely is harder than you may think. One "must" for
fine golf shots is good balance. Set up in a posture like
that of athletes in other sports who are in perfect
balance. Your knees should have a nice flex with your
weight on the ball of each foot. Your stance should be
shoulder-width with the driver. Your back should be
angled slightly forward and straight with your chin
slightly up, your arms hanging lightly with no tension.
Starting from the athletic position described makes it
much easier to swing the golf club while maintaining perfect
balance - the secret to consistent shotmaking.
