Head In Vise For Precise Putting

If you
move your head as you stroke any golf putt, the odds of your
making that golf putt go down. When the head moves, the upper
body and arms must move with it. This in turn means that
the blade of the golf putter will never quite impact the ball
precisely as you had planned. It doesn't take much head
movement to throw the blade of the golf putter off enough to affect the
path of the ball by an inch or two - the difference
between a make or a miss.
As you settle in over the ball, imagine a large vise
being lightly tightened against your temples, fixing your head's position in
space. Make your golf stroke with your head locked in by that vise, never looking up
until the golf ball is long gone. A truer roll will result
